Thanks for your work here Gregg.

Another important point to make IMO is the authority and power that the
US Constitution provides Congress in Art. III., Sec. 2. to limit/restrict/remove
APPELLATE jurisdiction from the U.S. Supreme Court. It's been there since the
Constitution was signed in 1787, and ratified in 1788: "In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, WITH SUCH EXCEPTIONS, AND UNDER SUCH REGULATIONS AS THE CONGRESS SHALL MAKE." [ emphasis added ]

Congress could have ended "abortion" 37+ years ago (and still can) by removing
appellate jurisdiction from the Supreme Court. The same solution can bring to
an end the tyranny of sodomite "marriage" (coupling) being forced upon America.
The same solution can stop the tyranny of federal judges preventing Americans
from praying in the Name of Christ, or posting the Ten Commandments (former Alabama State Supreme Court Chief Justice I believe was the primary author of
bills introduced in Congress by legislators in 2004: HR 3799 (US House) and S.2323 (US Senate) - the Constitution Restoration Act of 2004 to protect the "acknowledgement of God" which would deal with the public prayer and Ten Commandments display issues. Thes bills invoked the Art. III, Sec. 2 constitutional authority of Congress to limit the appellate jurisdcition of the US Supreme Court.)

Although I do not agree with "federalizing" laws regarding marriage - it is outside
the jurisdiction of the federal government/US Constitution - the US House did pass
HR 3313, the Marriage Protection Act in 2004, invoking the Article III., Section 2. authority to protect the DOMA (passed in 1996) from being overturned (the Senate did not pass HR 3313 however):

JULY 22, 2005 - Yearlong anniversary of House MPA
vote to remove jurisdiction from Supreme Court on DOMA

Today, July 22, is the yearlong anniversary of the 2004 vote by the US House to pass the Marriage Protection Act (HR 3313, 108th Congress), removing jurisdiction from the US Supreme Court and the lower federal courts over cases concerning the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) passed in 1996
http://christianlifeandliberty.net/CONLAW10.DOC

Regarding the "abortion" issue, Congress could pass any of the four personhood
bills presently in Congress (HR 881, HR 227, HR 2533, and S.346) and making sure that Article III., Sec 2. language is added where it does not already exist (only HR 2533 presently has that type of language), Congress could END "ABORTION" IN AMERICA. However, the fake Republican Congress under Clinton/Bush never even had a Subcommittee hearing on Personhood (for the unborn) legislation the 12 years they were in power in the US House (Jan 1995 - Jan 2007).

PRESIDENT BUSH and CONGRESS
COULD END ABORTION IN AMERICA IN ONE WEEK
http://christianlifeandliberty.net/CONLAW08.DOC

US House limits jurisdiction of Federal Courts regarding the Pledge of Allegiance
Employs Article III., Section 2. constitutional power of the US Congress to limit
the appellate jurisdiction of the US supreme Court:

This same Article III., Section 2. constitutional power of the US Congress to limit the appellate jurisdiction of the US supreme Court can be further applied to protect the God-ordained institution of marriage, to protect state-level laws banning acts of sodomy, to protect federal and state laws banning abortion, and to protect the freedom of religious expression that is guaranteed by the First Amendment of the US Constitution, vis-a-vis public displays of the Ten Commandments, and public prayer in the Name of Jesus. http://christianlifeandliberty.net/CONSTLAW06-01.DOC

Greg,

You are right on here. The Christian mind set sacrifices the rule of law for the “right” result. The “Pro-life” judges appointed by Republican Presidents mantra is just the tip of this iceberg. The larger failure is we are willing to throw down the rule of law for any “good” result. I have written more here.

See Failed Plans that deserve to Fail.

Thanks

Finally, someone brave enough to stand up to the elitists in the Repub party. Ppl like Rush ,Hannity, Gallager, Coulter, et al who endorsed the abortionist, socialist, homosexualist supporting Romney. They obviously did this to divide the consevative vote. Obama has been a gold mine for these ppl and few have called them out on it.

"name required" : I never claimed that America is only for Christians, only that it was founded predominantly by Christians and rooted on Judeo-Christian principles taken directly from Scripture.

"Just a Guy" : Falwell, if he said what you claim, is wrong. Because the Bible doesn't endorse segregation.

As for the other scripture verses you cite: you have taken every one of them out of context.

God only condemns homosexual behaviour throughout the Bible. (in both the old and new covenant). Not what I say. It's what God says. Sorry...

R. Locke: You obviously are totally ignorant of the history of the United States and our Founding Era. Everything you claim is totally false. You lost me when you claimed that the Constitution doesn't refer to God or His Son Jesus. Try reading it again...especially the Preamble. Also, what does "in the name of our Lord" refer to in your mind? "Mother earth?" "Buddah?" or Muhhamud?" And the "Treay of Tripoli?" Please. Stop with the myths already. That one has been dubunked hundreds of times. What do you think an "inalienable right" means? I will tell you what it means. It means that those rights you enjoy like the freedom of religion, freedom, of speech, the freedom to your own life are endowed by your Creator who made you whether you choose to acknowledge Him (the God of the Bible) or not. And I pray you do. Because if you reject Him you will spend eternity apart from Him in a place called HELL.
