What the liberal media doesn’t want you to know about Romney
The liberal MSM knows that RINOs seldom if ever win national elections. So they end up propping up guys who are essentially Democrats like Guiliani and McCain because they know the Christian conservative base won’t turn out in large enough numbers to vote for them on election day.
I wrote an article about this in 2007 entitled, “RINO=GOP R.I.P”
Fast forward to the 2012 race and we can see why the MSM is again propping up the Founding Father of the $50 Romneybort and homosexual “marriage,” uber liberal Country Club Republican, Willard “Mitt” Romney, whom the liberals know the conservative Christian base, especially in the heartland and south, won’t turn out for on election day in large enough numbers to defeat even the weakest of Democrat candidates. Although Romney is constantly touted as the “frontrunner” by the Left and pseudo-con pundits like homosexual GOProud board member, Ann Coulter and the New Kids over at National Review, he’s apparently not the “frontrunner” in many key southern and heartland states which may explain why he’s written off the first in the nation caucus state, Iowa, as well as South Carolina, this go-around.
The latest polls from some key southern/heartland states (Georgia, North Carolina, West VA, Nebraska) have Cain and Gingrich way out in front with Cain #1 in all polls with Romney, who has essentially been running for president for the past 5 years who has the highest name recognition in either 3rd or 4th place.
Ouch!
Now I am not saying that Obama’s numbers may be so low a year from now that even an uber liberal establishment RINO like Romney may actually win, but I think Ann Coulter was 100% correct when she said recently that if Romney is the GOP nominee, Obama wins.
Very, Very, difficult if not impossible to win without your base. A lesson that should have been learned in 1976(RINO Ford), 1992(RINO Bush), 1996(RINO Dole), 2004(RINO Bush who arguably only narrowly beat Kerry because of the Ohio marriage amendment being on the ballot in Ohio), and 2008(RINO McCain).
If Romney does hoodwink enough conservatives and Christians into voting for him in the primaries, as they say down south, “That dog (Romney)won’t hunt” and we will have 4 more years of the usurper ex-crack smoking Marxist in the White House in my humble opinion.
The inside the beltway GOP media elites (“Republican good, Democrat bad”) have obviously not learned their lesson.
