STERN WARNING TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE & TEACH “REPENTANCE OF SINS” IS REQUIRED FOR SALVATION. By Gregg Jackson

No matter how many times I do videos or posts saying that neither Jesus nor any of His apostles or disciples EVER told anyone EVER ONCE that they needed to “repent of their sins” to be saved, I always get at least 10 comments saying, “But Peter said to ‘repent’ in Acts 2:38.”

And every time, I tell them the same thing that Peter never said “repent of your sins.” Nor did Jesus EVER! Nor did ANY of His apostles or disciples EVER TELL ANYONE TO EVER “REPENT OF THEIR SINS” to be saved!!! EVER!!!!

This LIE that the Bible teaches a person must “repent of all their sins,” “turn from their sins,” or “stop sinning” to be saved has been repeated so often from so many false teachers in churches and here on YouTube that people actually believe it in spite of the FACT that (please forgive my redundancy) NEITHER JESUS NOR ANY OF HIS APOSTLES OR DISCIPLES EVER TOLD ANYONE EVER TO “REPENT OF THEIR SINS” TO BE SAVED.

NEVER ONCE!!!

PLEASE PEOPLE…READ YOUR BIBLE FOR YOURSELVES!!!

STOP repeating, regurgitating & promulgating this LIE from the PIT OF HELL!

Eternal salvation is by God’s grace alone through FAITH ALONE in Jesus Christ alone!!! PERIOD!!!

When Paul and Silas were asked by the Philippian jailer, “what must I do to be saved?” they didn’t tell him “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and repent of all your sins to be saved.”

NO!!!! They told him to “BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.” (Acts 16:31)

Sola fide! Sola fide! Sola fide!

In the few times the word “repent” is used in regards to salvation (It is never used once in John’s Gospel), as I and many other Grace teachers, have explained numerous times, it is translated from the Greek word, “Metanoia” which means to “change one’s mind” to go from NOT believing in Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation and eternal life to BELIEVING in HIM ALONE for salvation and eternal life.

“Metanoi” doesn’t mean to ” repent of sins,” “turn from sins,” or to “stop sinning”!!!!!!!!!

“Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6)
