People always ask: How come people continually complicate & reject something so simple as the Gospel of Grace?
I believe the same spirit that that caused Satan and 1/3 of the angels to be kicked out of Heaven is the same spirit that causes people to reject & (sadly) mock God’s Grace today.
It’s the spirit of PRIDE.
The same spirit that says, “I’m not that bad.”
“There’s something inherently good about me.”
“I can do this salvation thing on my own.”
“I’m righteous apart from the righteousness of God.”
This SAME spirit of PRIDE is what drives ALL religions.
But Christianity isn’t religion (i.e., what I have to DO to establish my own righteousness to get to heaven).
Christianity is truth!
Ultimate TRUTH!
Jesus said, “I am the way, the TRUTH and the life. No one comes to The Father in Heaven but through Me.” (John 14:6)
It’s simple child-like FAITH in what Jesus Christ DID on Calvary’s Cross 2,000 yrs ago that makes us 100% righteous in the eyes of God The Father. Nothing more than simple child like FAITH in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ on The Cross A-L-O-N-E!!!!!!
That is all that God The Father requires to be forgiven of all your sins and to spend eternity in Heaven…
Coming to the END of yourself and admitting that there is NOTHING good in your flesh and that only Jesus Christ can save you from your sins…
